Digital cinema cameras output valuable metadata via SDI, but most wireless systems and some image processors strip it. MetaCoder preserves and embeds this metadata so it remains intact, regardless of the wireless transmitter used.
MetaCoder supports three distinct operating modes, each optimized for a specific use case and leveraging its full feature set. It can be deployed across a range of production scenarios, from straightforward metadata preservation to capture and distribution of video, audio and metadata on local network or in cloud-enabled collaboration.
PRIMARY ENCODING MODE
Preserves critical SDI metadata during wireless transmission while requiring only power and an SDI input. Offers selectable embedding into audio or video channels and simultaneous SDI loop-through for seamless integration into signal chains.
STANDALONE MODE
Functions as a unit for capturing and distributing video, audio, and metadata to multiple client devices. Operates on an existing local network or creates its own secure access point. Ideal for local monitoring and streaming without additional hardware.
HOST DEVICE MODE
Integrates with an iOS device running the QTAKE Monitor app, enabling ultra-low latency streaming to remote viewers and direct proxy media upload to QTAKE Cloud. Content becomes immediately available for off-set collaboration.
